Stake Pokerthe poker room.

Live since September 2024. Browser-based, no download. NL2 to NL500 cash games, $1M Bad Beat Jackpot, daily freerolls. MAX3000 applies here too, licensed Curaçao OGL/2024/1451/0918.

Status: live and open

The room opened in September 2024, not "coming soon," not paused, not in beta. A summer 2025 platform update added daily freerolls, boosted the Bad Beat Jackpot to $1,000,000, introduced Run It Twice, Straddles, auto-seating, and PLO5. Over $1,000,000 in prize money was paid out within the first two months of that updated platform going live. The software is proprietary, built in-house, and runs entirely in the browser, nothing to download on desktop, iOS, or Android.

The player pool skews recreational. Most traffic flows in from the casino and sportsbook sides of the platform, which means you're less likely to be sharing a table with regulars hunting for volume. For a winning player, that's the best possible environment. Third-party HUD software is prohibited, the table is level.

Run It Twice

Available at all cash tables. When both players agree on an all-in, the remaining board is dealt twice and the pot split. Reduces variance without affecting expected value.

Straddle & Auto-Straddle

Live straddle available pre-flop with auto-straddle option for action seekers. Creates a third blind and inflates pot sizes, standard at higher-stakes tables.

Custom Bet Buttons

Set your own pre-flop and post-flop sizing buttons. Saves time and keeps bet-sizing consistent without manual entry every hand.

Multi-tabling

No stated limit on simultaneous tables. Switch between active tables via top-menu icons. Works on mobile as well as desktop.

Rake counts too

Whisper MAX3000 and the 200% match applies alongside your poker sessions. Rakeback starts at Bronze. Claim with MAX3000 on the way in.

Tournament schedule

Micros to lows. Four daily freerolls. MTTs firing 2-3 per hour.

The MTT schedule runs 2-3 tournaments per hour with buy-ins from $0.01 to $100. Formats include Classic, Turbo, Bounty (KO), Progressive KO, and Early Bird bubble protection. Sit & Go's run on demand at $1-$10. Daily freerolls run four times a day with up to $500 prize pools each, approximately $2,000 in daily freeroll value, with around 2,000 entrants and top 300 paid.

The guarantee structure is micro-to-low stakes. High-volume MTT specialists used to five-figure guarantees will find this schedule thin, it's not Partypoker or GGPoker. But the player pool is soft, and the overlays can be generous when guarantees aren't met.

Rake and rakeback

7% cash game rake is high. 5% rakeback from Bronze softens the blow.

The rake is 7% across all Hold'em and Omaha cash game stakes, uniform, with no reduction as stakes increase. For context, industry average cash game rake is typically 5%. That said, 3% of the 7% feeds the jackpot pool, which includes the $1M Bad Beat Jackpot. Tournament rake is 10%.

Rakeback sits at 5% flat, it doesn't increase with volume. You need to reach Bronze VIP tier first ($10,000 in lifetime wagering across all Stake products, casino, sports and poker combined). Rakeback accumulates from day one but can't be withdrawn until you cross Bronze. The combined casino and sportsbook wagering means most recreational players can reach Bronze faster than a poker-only room would require.

$1M Bad Beat Jackpot

Active at all Hold'em cash tables. The nastier the beat, the bigger the payout.

The Bad Beat Jackpot triggers when you lose holding quads or better, 2222 in Hold'em, 4444 in PLO4, 8888 in PLO5, JJJJ in PLO6, using both hole cards, with at least 4 players dealt in to the hand. The pot can reach up to $1,000,000. Payout split: losing player receives 5.6% of the pool, winning player gets 3.5%, and all other active players share 2.1%. Three percent of every raked pot feeds this pool, so it grows continuously across all Hold'em tables. A second jackpot operates at All-in or Fold tables separately.
