Stake Engine is the game-platform layer that powers every Stake Original. It handles RNG, provably-fair commit-reveal, settlement, animation framework, and the bet feed. In April 2025 Stake opened it to external studios so they could build new games on the same infrastructure that runs Crash, Plinko and Mines.
For studios, it removes the cost of building a casino back-end from scratch. For Stake, it's a content engine, an ever-growing catalogue of provably-fair games at native 96-99% RTP without Stake having to design every title in-house. For players, it means the new Engine titles inherit the same fairness model and roughly the same RTP profile as the Originals.

Each game inherits SHA-256 commit-reveal from the platform. You can rotate seeds, verify rounds, and prove the outcome wasn't decided after your bet was placed.
Stake doesn't have to build every game. Studios ship to the catalogue continuously. Expect dozens of new Engine titles per year, not the 18 Originals total.
The original 18 are mechanical primitives (crash, dice, ball drop, grid reveal). Engine titles can be richer, themed games with feature buys, bonus rounds, narrative.

Open the doorStake Engine ships with an SDK that abstracts away the casino back-end: betting, settlement, RNG, animations, replays. Studios focus on game design and the math model; the platform handles distribution, KYC, multi-currency wallets, fairness disclosure, and integration into Stake's session, chat, Rain and bonus systems.
Revenue terms are private, but the model is closer to an aggregator than a slot-supplier deal. The platform pays back the lift in margin from native infrastructure to the studios that build on it, in exchange for exclusive or favoured-nation distribution to Stake.com and Stake.us. The result is a tighter loop than the standard slot-aggregator stack, where the same game is sold to 200 operators and the supplier gets a thin commission.
